LATE NEWS. WEATHER FORECAST. FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:—-South-westerly winds, mainly moderate in force, but strong at first in the north. Weather cool and changeable, with scattered showers. Seas rough on the west coast, slight to moderate on the east coast. A complex disturbance is centred over the North Island, and to the east of New Zealand. Pressure is high to the west. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions '.n the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, north-west, light; sea, smooth; weather* cloudy and showery; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
