LADY GALWAY GUILD.
MOUNT ALBERT BRANCH.
There was an attendance of 100 at a meeting called to form a branch in Mount Albert of the Lady Galway Patriotic Guild. The Mayor of Mount Albert, Mr. H. A. Anderson, presided, and outlined the objects of the movement, explaining that the guild would function in conjunction with the Mount Albert Women's Patriotic SubCommittee. Mr. Anderson appealed to 'all -women in the district to associate themselves with the guild and said there would be work for all. A branch of the guild was set up; the district was divided into areas and the following conveners were appointed: Albert terminus, Mrs. L. C. H. Dawson; Morningside, Mrs. F. J. Kayes; Kingsland, Mrs. A. Gwbb; Sandringham, Mrs. E. Litherland. In order that work could start immediately, Mr. Anderson advised that all women interested should contact the convener for their district as soon as possible.
