MEMORIAL FUND.

ANNUAL MEETING HELD.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIX, Friday. The annual general meeting of the New Zealand Nurses' Memorial Fund (Incorporated) was held this week. Sir Lindo Ferguson presided. At the commencement of the meeting the president referred to the death of Mr. W. T. Monkman, who hod acted as secretary to the provisional committee which initiated the memorial fund, and for 22 years had been honorary auditor. The following officers were elected:— President, Sir Lindo Ferguson; vice-pre-sidents, Mr. James Begg (Duncdin) and Dr. W. Young (Wellington); committee, Mrs. E. A. Kidd (Auckland), Dr. E. 11. B. Milsom (Auckland), Miss M. J. Lambie (Wellington), Mrs. T. H. Lowry (Hawke's Bay), Miss H. E. Newman, Sir Hugh Ac-land (Canterbury), Dr. K. Burns Watson (Southland), Miss A. Hoiford, Miss. D. Theomin, Miss E. J. Young, Mr. J. M. Paterson, Dr. Russell Ritchie (Otago); secretary, Mrs. H. W. Bundle; treasurer, Mr. J. A. McKinnon; auditors, W. E. C. Reid and Company; solicitor, Mr. A. W. Haggitt.
