PATRIOTIC FUNDS.

CHEQUE FOR £100,000.

TOTAL OF £ 150,000 PAID IN,

To-day the sum of £100,000 was posted to the Joint Council of the British Red Cross and Order of St. John by the Hon. Eliot R. Davie, M.L.C., chairman of the Auckland Citizens' Committee. There is a further sum to be sent, when money outstanding has been forwarded to headquarters.

Auckland has now sent the Joint Council £150,000, a cheque for £50,000 having been sent a short time ago.|Tliis sum represents the. proceeds of the huge drive for money made in recent weelfs.
