FOB CXTT AHD PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist Issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for tha Auckland Province to aa far aouth aa Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Worth easterly winds, strong In tha north and light but frsahaning in tha aouth. Occasional rain in tha far north, but waathar otharwiaa fair to flna and cool, doss rathar rough north of Hauraki Gulf, otharwiaa alight. An intanaa anti-cyclone covers Haw Zealand, whils a depression is advancing vary alowly from Ma waotom Taaman See. HAURAKI GULF COROmOHS. Tha following report of weather conditione in the Hauraki Gulf waa received from Tirltiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, east, fresh; sea, moderate; weather, line; viaibility, good; barometer, high and steady.
