WAR COUNCIL.
FIRST MEETING. FIXED FOR TO-MORROW. HOUSE TO ADJOURN. (By Telegraph—Parliamentary .Reporter.) WELLINGTON", this day. Tho Prime Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, stated to-day that the first meeting of the War Council would be held to-morrow morning in Parliament Buildings. Questioned regarding Parliamentary business, Mr. Fraser replied that he had anticipated the debate on the Imprest Supply Bill would conclude with to-day's sitting and the House would then adjourn until next Thursday, when ho considered it likely that the Financial Statement would be ready for presentation.
