(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, thie day. The New Zealand Petroleum Company, Limited, reports that at Morere the deptli at present is 3312 ft. The well has been closed in. While mixing fresh mud, the old drilling mud became cut or lightened by gae. The cloeed-in pressure at the wellhead is 6751b per square inch. The drilling at Midhirst has commenced, end ill thie location the present depth W 285 ft. The well is being reamed out to the full eize.
