AIR OFFICIALS.
ONE GOES TO MANILA. PAN-AMERICAN TRANSFERS. A Pan-American official who has. been closely connected with the operations of his company in the Pacific, Mr. A. L. Lewis, air base manager at Auckland, is expected to leave early next week for Manila on promotion. Ho has been appointed section operations superintendent there, and his work will be associated with Clippers on the China route.
Mr. Lewis first came here tebout two and a half years ago when the company's plans for South Pacific air development were in their infancy. After he left Auckland he wis stationed at various bases on the company's Pacific system, ftnd he was again stationed at Auckland as from December last. To succeed him Sir. W. J. Mullahey has arrived in Auckland. Mr. Mullahey has recently been manager at Canton Island, one of the stopping places on Pan-American® South Pacific air route.
