AUCKLAND CENTRE FORMED. . meeting of delegates from Auckland indoor howling interests was held In the lort Buildings, when It was decided to form a Centre in Auckland. Pilgrim (Labour), junior Mr. O. Llmore (Orange) ; eecretar.v-treasurer, Mr. b. George (Dunnottar) ; executive, Messrs. S. Skinner .(Birkenhead and Nortfacote), J. Sangeter (Foresters), H. Hawkee (Buckiand's Beach), J. Venvilje (Parnell Returned Soldiers). ' It was decided to hold an open benefit tourney in aid of the Sick and Wounded Fund on Saturday afternoon, July 27, starts ing at 2 p.m. The games will be played at the Orange Hall. Newton Road, Fountain of Friendship Hall, Newton Road, and Transport Club Rooms, top of " Syraonds Street. The Auckland Interhouse Indoor Bowling Association's tourney in aid of the Soldiers' Queen resulted in a win for H. Gelding, Mrs, Gelding. Mrs. Robinson and D. Gelding, who beat T. Barnes, M. West, J. Aidred apd J. Kennedy in the final.
