CROQUET CLUBS.
WAITEMATA CLUB. The president, Mrs. W. P. Roberts, presided at the annual meeting of the \\aitemata. Croquet Club and congratulated the club on winning the Auckland Croquet Association's Shield for B grade inter-club players. During the afternoon a presentation was made to Mrs. J, Robertson, who is retiring after holding office for six years as secretary.. The principal competitions were won by:—Stewart Cup, Mrs. A. J. Grant; handicap singles, Mrs. J. K. McPhail; handicap doubles, Mrs. J. R. McPhail and W. Mclntyre; progressive aggregate, Mrs. C'. Rose; hidden number, Mrs. A. J. Grant. Officers elected for the ensuing vear were:—President, Mrs. W. P. Roberts; secretary, Mrs. P. J. Hawke; delegate, Mrs. P. J. Hawke.
