ENJOYABLE TALKS. "Xever before lias the world been confronted with so many problems." stated Captain Billington, as he welcomed guests and members of the S.S.R.L. at Harmony Hal], Wellesley Street. West, "but never before have there been so many individuals and groups of individuals striving to alleviate the sufferings of mankind." Mrs. M. Maichen, president of the !Christchurch School of Radiant Living, was warmly welcomed by those present. She gave an enjoyable lecture entitled ."Inspiration." An illuminating addre>< was delivered by Mrs. W. Harvey. the Auckland president, who spoke about "Life eternal." Miss Joan Warren conducted the 'stating of "My Purpose." while Mr. I Edmund Hillary lead the community * singing.
