WOMEN'S OPEN GOLF TOURNEY AT REMUERA.

BEST ROUND BT MRS. G. F. FERGUSON. In the first open day of the season at Rem.uera yesterday mo6t of the leading local players took part. The best round of the day was a 77 by Mrs. G. F. Ferguson (Auckland). Other leading gross scores were: —Mrs. W. S. Ralph 79, Mrs. J. M. Alison 81, and Mrs. C. N. Jacobeen 84. The best net score of the dav was that of Mrs. H. T. Wiley, 88—17—71. Other good cards were:—Mrs. Ralph, 79 —7 —72; Mrs. Ferguson, 77 —5 —72; Mrs. R. L. Wilson, 86 —13 —73; Mrs. H. Schroff, 85 —12 — 73. A bogey foursomes was won by Mrs. Jacobsen and Mrs. F. Sturt, who were 2 down.
