DAISY CHAIN CLUB.

OFFICERS ELECTED. Mrs. Ruby Watson was the speaker for the day at the Daisy Chain Club rooms when the weekly meeting was held. Her subject was "Women." Mrs. Ix>rd, the president, was in the chair. Tho "thought for the day" was read by the vice-president, Mrs. Gay, and the business of the club was then attended to by the secretary, Mrs. S. Waterliouse.

At the general committee meeting, held recently, the annual report was read by the secretary and the treasurer's report was presented by Mrs. Wells. It was decided to make, a slight increase in one monthly subscription fee to meet heavier expenses. The president, Mrs. Lord, welcomed two new members on the committee and officials were elected for tlie following duties for the coming year:—Under-secrctary, Mrs. G. Orrell; under-trcasurer, Mrs. E. Judge; novelty hostess. Mrs. Duplantier. Mrs. Lord was reappointed visitor for the Knox Home, Mesdamcs Barfoot and Ramsay to visit the sick in hospital and Mesdames Wells and Judge to visit the Infirmary. These visits are carried out regularly each fortnight, funds for cheer being supplied from the "Good Cheer Box" and books donated by members and their friends are also delivered to the same institutions.
