After Jack Tar was successful in the Mclnnes Memorial, the chief event at \\ hangarei yesterday, the joint owners, the Hon. E. R. Davis and Mr. O. Nicholson, announced that they would donate a cup, value 25gs, at the next meeting of the club.
Acceptances for the autumn meeting of the Watifranm Trotting Club, to be held afc C'lnudelands nest Saturday, close -with Messrs. Rtomfield and Co.. Auckland, at 5 p.m., or the secretary of the Waiknto Trotting Club. Mr. G. Jew, Hamilton, S p.m. 011 Monday nest.
