MISSIONARY FAREWELL.
A farewell was tendered by the Auckland Presbytery in St. David'e Church last night to Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Hendereon, who leave thie week to join .the staff ot the Mieeion Service at Jagadhii. Punjab. The moderator, the Rev. P. Gladstone Hughes, stressed the need for maintaining and extending the Christian mission enterprise in thk time of world crisis. In reply Dr. Hendereon eaid he felt that in taking up the work he would be dealing not with the result but with the root causes of war.
