The Federal Committee engaged on the question of the shipping shortage has issued a report saying that the position is generally satisfactory. Considerable quantities of wheat, sugar and meat have already been shipped to Britain.
The outlook for space is better than expected, and it would probably be ample for the transportation of cargoes which the Mother Country most urgently needed.
