Sutherland Roes, of Dunedin, are at the Grand Hotel. • • • • Miss Linda Anderson, who has, been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Anderson, Christehurch, has returned to Auckland. • • • • Mrs. R. G. Rainger and Miee Cushla Rainger, of Arney Road, Remuera, left to-day for Wellington, where they will visit the Centennial Exhibition. • • • • Mrs. Cedric Herman, of Corunna Avenue, Parnell, has returned home after a holiday at Ruatoria, East Coast,' where she was the guest of Mrs. J. Sharland. • • • • Miss Lyra Taylor, formerly of Wellington, is at present paying a brief visit to her mother, Mrs. Mary Taylor, 9, Hadfield Terrace, Kelburn. Miss Taylor has for some years past been engaged in social work in the United States and in .Canada. She has moe-t recently been associated with the Montreal School of Social Work with the Y.W.C.A. She ie shortly proceeding to Sydney to take up her appointment as general secretary of the Young Women's Christian Association in that city.
