THREE MINOR FIRES.

Shortly after nine o'clock this morning, fire broke out in a bedroom at the rear of a house at 11, Nelson Street, City, owned by Turners and Growers, Limited, City. Slight damage was done to a chair and eome clothing, but there waa no structural damage. Two engines from the Central station attended.

During the morning calls were also received to two grass fires, one in St. Mark's Road, Remuera, and the other near the railway embankment at Mount Albert. Xo serious damage was done.
