CENTENNIAL TITLES. J. SIN TON AMD R. LINDSAY EXCEL. At the New Zealand Centennial skeet and clay target championship meeting, held at Panmure. later results yesterday were : — In the skeet handicap, two rounds of 25 targets, F. H. Seccombe and D. I'. North tied with 44 birds, the former winning the slioot-off. Seven shooters tied with the possible in a 15-target trophy match decided on the tive-trnck system. A line shoot-off resulted on the first-miss-ont principle, the match going to 50 targets before J. Sinton (Auckland) proved successful. R. G. Lindsay (Thames) was runner-up. Both young shooters, they gave very pleasing performances against experienced opponents. Nine competitors. E. Schofield (Auckland), llM'kley, J. Malcolm (Huntly), W. Saunders (Huntly). Brown (Thames), E. Bartleeit (Auckland), C. Thomassen (WaitaknruTtiJ, R. H. Bnrtley (Auckland), and E. Monteitih (Auckland), tied in a seventarget gimcrack contest, and divided the sweep. A double-rise event of five pairs of targets resulted in a tie between W'hiskc (Matamata), C. Thomassen and E. MonteUh. They each secured nine breaks.
