CENTENNIAL. STAMPS.

First-day covers bearing specimens of the new Centennial stamps will be accepted for posting at the exhibition post office, Wellington, on the dav the stamps are first on sale, according to adviqe received by Auckland philatelists from the chief postmaster, Mr. K G. May. r * M . a J states that any covers which it is desired to have so treated should be sent to the Director-General, General -Post Office, Wellington, accompanied bv a remittance to cover the cost of the stamps and a servicing fee, of Id per cove#, us soon as possible, as the stamps are to be issued on January 2.
