RESCUER AT OREWA BEACH.

While rescuing a man and a airl who were washed out to sea on a rubber raft about three o'clock yesterday afternoon, another man is believed to a l e ] °f drowning. As the man and" girl difted to sea six men swam out to save them, and they were brought to land. Later, owe\er, it was noticed that one of the six rescuers was missing. An intensive search which included a survev by a Hobsonville 'plane, war fruitless." At an early hour this afternoon no lurther details were available.
