German Residents To Vote

On Citizenship. HIMMLER TALKS WITH DUCE. (Received noon.) ROME, December 21. Signor MiHsnlini received Himmler, Chief of the Xazi Gestapo, who is visiting Rome. The News Agency says they had a long and cordial conversation. Himmler and the Italian Undersecretary of the Interior, signed an agreement under which Germans resident in Tyrol will vote by December 31, on whether they wish to return to Germany or assume Italian citizenship. An earlier message said it ie reliably stated that, although the newspapers do not mention the arrival in Rome of Himmler. chief of thn Nazi Gestapo, he is understood to be arranging the liquidation of holdings of Germans who are to be repatriated at the end of the month.
