WAIMARINO ARRIVED. MONTEREY DUE ON MONDAY. WAEPIATA SAILED. PORT WAIKATO FROM THE SOUTH. The Union Company's steamer Waimarino arrived this morning from Lyttelton direct with cargo from South Island ports and berthed at Prince's wharf. .She will go into Calliope Dock to-morrow for cleaning and painting, coining out on Thursday morning, and is scheduled to sail 011 her return south 011 Friday afternoon. The Matson liner Mariposa leaves Melbourne at 10 o'clock to-night instead of her usual sailing time, of 11 a.m. This enables her passengers to see the Melbourne Cup run this afternoon. She clears Sydney at 11 a.m. 011 Friday for Auckland, arriving at 7 a.lll. on Monday, and will sail at 5 p.m. that day for San Francisco, via way ports. The Union Company's steamer Waipiata, which was docked here last week, left yestertlay afternoon for Lyttelton, Dunedin and the Bluff. The Watchlin Line motor ship Port Waikato, is due at Wellington tomorrow from Lyttelton and is expected to sail the same evening for Auckland, ani\y'ng 011 Saturday. She sails again for the soutli to-morrow week. Monterey was ;ieheduled to leave Sail Francisco at 11 a.m. to-day for Auckland, via ports, and will arrive on Friday, November i! 4, sailing at 10 p.m. for Sydney (H. and M.)
