The . Auckland Gas Company Ltd. ISSUE OF DEBENTURES The Company invites applications for Debentures amounting to £120,000 bearing interest at the rate of 5 per cent per annum with a currency of ten years. Debentures will be issued in denominations of £50 £100 £250 or £500 as desired. The Debentures will be payable to bearer. Coupons for interest will be attached. The Share Capital of the Company has remained the same for many years, but the Debenture Capital, which was £309,050 from 1928 con nnn' feo'ncn reduced to the present "D" Debenture amount of £80,000—-£229,050 having been paid off. The Gas output has increased by upwards of 115,000,000 cubic feet since 1934. This increased output is the result of facilities offered to consumers in the financing of gas appliances and also of the increased use of gas for industrial purposes Applications to be sent to the Company at its office, 26 Wyndham Street, Auckland, up to 5 pm. on the 30th November 1939 accompanied by a deposit of 10 per cent of the amount applied for' The Balance payable on or before 20th December, 1939.
