BOOKMAKING OFFENCE
FINE OF £40 IMPOSED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. On a charge of bookmaking, Robert Sim Troup, barman, was fined £40 in the Police Court to-day. The police stated that defendant was acting for a bookmaker, and was receiving 2/ iu tae pound.
