American Woman Doctor Killed By Nazis. WAS BOUND FOR POLAND. (Received 12.30 p.m.) XEW YORK, September 15. Mr. Henry Newson, a member of the Faculty of St. Mary's College, California., has received an official British War Office dispatch notifying him of the death of his sister, Dr. Florence Newson, a Red Cross volunteer aboard a British plane bound for Poland, which was shot down in Germany. All aboard were killed.
