FULLY SUBSCRIBED.
TRANSPORT BOARD LOANS.
Three consolidated redemption loans, issued by the Auckland Transport Board, and amounting in the aggregate to £205,400, at per cent interest, have been fully subscribed. The first loan of £96,300 was issued on June 22, and the second loan for £100,000 was issued on July 20. The third loan, for the balance of £69,100, was issued on August 15. By yesterday '.t was fully subscribed. The secretary of the board. Mr. C. R. dribble, said to-day that there had been an excellent response on the part of the investing public, who showed appreciation of the sound security that the board had to offer. The largest individual subscriptions had been" £20,000 and £I>,ooo, both on beh.ilf of private corporations in the South Island.
