ACTION TAKEN IN N.Z. (By Telegraph.—Fress Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A cablegram has been received from Mr. W. J. Jordan, New Zealand High Commissioner in London, conveying, through Mr. Anthony Eden, Britain's warm appreciation and gratitude to the Government and people of New Zealand for the prompt and effective action taken to meet the situation rrising out of the present international ciisis.
