THE MAGIC SPOON.

Here is a simple little scientific trick which will interest your guests. (Jet a pin and stick it upright into something. Then on the pin's head balance a teaspoon. Now take an ordinary vulcanite comb, rub it on your hair or the palm of your hand once or twice, then hold the tip of the comb quite close to one end of the spoon. To the onlookers' surprise the spoon will slowly revolve, following the comb after the fashion of a compass needle. You will get a lot of fun out of this.
