THE DILEMMA
Get an empty matchbox and three matches. Close 1 lie box and stand it tipright, then into either side, between the drawer of the box and its case, insert two matches, with tlie heads projecting so that they are vertical. The third match is laid horizontally between the other two until it is felt to be gripped firmly between them. Ask someone m the company which of the two side matches will ignite first if yon light the third match in the centre. The joke, of course, ie that either guess will be wrong. The centre match, when lighted, springs away as it burns and leaves the others untouched.
