PARTY FOR FUNDS. A successful flag five hundred evening war held in the Kenown Hall, Papatoeloe. in aid of the lied Cross funds. Mr. What ford was in charge, assisted by the following committee. Mesdanies Wheeler, Benny, Messrs. H. E. Collett, Pickles and. Benny. The winners were: Mesdaiues L. Montgomerie. (.J. McDonald, Mr. H. Collett, lii>it prizes; Mesdauies Markwick, Lougher, Mr. C. Martin, second prizes; Mesdames C. Somerville, E. Fagan, Miss A. Edwards, travelling flags.
