A dispatch from Paris says the Rumanian Legation in that city has called upon all Rumanians of military age to return home from France immediately. A German official is reported to be on his way to Rumania to secure for Germany more essential commodities, states a Daventry broadcast. Britain, France and the Xetherlands are operating actively on the Rumanian market. The price of wheat has risen by 30 per cent, and that of barley has doubled.
A message from Rome says that Italy, Yugoslavia and Greece are reported to be negotiating for an agreement which will guarantee Balkan peace.
