McCREADY-WRIGHT RETURN WRESTLE.

One of the most important -wrestling matches of the season will be staged at the Auckland Town Hall on Saturday night. It -will ,be a return bout between Earl McCready. the British Empire champion, and Rube Wright, the big wrestler from Texas who recently opened his New Zealand campaign. \Vrijrht has an international reputation. In 1033 lie entered for the American amateur heavy-weight championship and a series en" splendid performances enabled him to win the title. He then turned professional and. after a series of matches on the Pacific Coast, transferred to New "V ork and Boston, where lie did most of his wrestling during the next two years. In I<>36 lie made his first visit to Europe, and. in the course of an extended tour in which he visited most of the capitals on the Continent, he •beat Henri de Glane and Don KolofT. as well as the champions of several countries. He went to Europe again last year, when lie was McCready's opponent in the biggest match the latter had in England. "VVnyht is 29 years old. 6ft 2in in height and weighs nearly 18 stone.
