REUNION OF OLD BOYS. |
The annual reunion of llie Prince Albert College Old Boys' Association was held at the Oversea League rooms. Queen's Arcade, on Saturday evening, there being a good attendance. The retiring president, the Kev. E. Chitty, was in the chair. The following officers were elected: — president, Air. .T. C. Ballantyne; presidentelect, Mr. L. AV. Keals; joint honorary secretaries, Messrs. .T. K. Wade and T. A. liennett: executive, Messrs. .T. Dods, T. Carson. T. Holdsworth, Close, H. Heybnrn, .T. B. Johnston, F. Thorn and B. Entrican. The meeting was followed by a smoke concert, at which the toast. "Our OJd School," was proposed by Mr. H. M. Hampson. Messrs. A. W. Short, H. E. Gilbert-Smith and Mr. P. Drnmmond, former masters of the school, replied. The toast. "Kindred Associations," was proposed by Mr. G. P. Robertson, and responded to by Mr. ,T. D. Coleman, of the Sacred Heart College Old Boys' Association, and Mr. L. F. Rudd, Auckland Grammar School. Mount Albert Grammar School was also represented. Songs were given by Mr. J. Laird and Mr. E. Snell, with Mr. A. E. Pow at the piano. Mr. L. Wood performed sleiglit of band. The reunion concluded with a church parade yesterday morning at the Pitt Street Methodist Church, when there was a good muster of old boys and old girls of the college.
