A GOOD FIVE. HORSES AT TAKANINI. Jack Tar, on t'he outside, worked very freely, while Birthday Boy gives evidence of a quick return to form. Bachelor King (Bartle) was too good for Vualsstar (Kingi) at the finish of three furlongs in 40 2-as, upon which the former could have improved.
