CYCLISTS INJURIES.
£1337 DAMAGES AWARDED,

WELLINGTON, Wednesday. -pu, tile? tonight fdttnd'ttot^&e^nver«n Army .which" collided a motor cyclist on the main highway between Johnsonville- and Glens ide on October IS guilty of negligence, and awarded tiw cyclist £1000 general damage* and £337 special damages. The jury was in ra> tirement for four hours, and was not unanimous on all the issues submitted to it.
The suppliant was Jack Francis Welsford, a minor, employed by the Poet and Telegraph Department as a lisctman at Plimmerton. He sued through ■his stepfather, James Banks, of Wd~ lington.
A nonsuit point was reserved, and the Crown was allowed 14 days in which to apply for judgment, for & new trial, or for a nonsuit.
