CONTRIBUTION REFUSED.
The New Lynn Boroujrh Council decided last liijrht to reaffirm its previous decision not. to contribute to the cost of a preliminary survey of the metropolitan aerodrome site on tliu Ma mi kaii Hiirlioiir. When a letter was received from tlic Auckland City Council covering the city engineer's report on the survey the Mnyor, Mr. A. T. Reiman, said that a schedule to the report stated that Xew Lynn had not replied whether the boroujrh would contribute or not. The complete cost of the survey was £1000 and the borough's share was £10 6/.
