HAWAIIAN SURF TEAM.

POSSIBILITY NEXT YEAR.

Negotiations conducted in Honolulu by Mr. Phillip J. Wynter, manager of the Australian surf team which recentlv competed there, will probably result in the visit to the Dominion earlv next year of a team of Hawaiian surfers and swimmers. Mr Wynter, who passed through in the -Monterey to-day, announced that he had concluded arrangements for a visit to Australia and it seemed likelv that the team—comprising fifteen 'menwould find time to drop off at Auckland to compete in Centennial events.
