FIRST PROGRAMME.
LOTTE LEHMANN'S RECITALS.
For the first concert to be presented by the famous German soprano Lotte Lehmann 011 Tuesday next, June 20, a programme that should have wide appeal has been arranged. Madaui Lehmann will sing two operatic arias, one from "Migd°? (Thomas) and one from "La Boheme" (Puccini). The programme will open with Bra-hms "Love is Forever," followed by Schubert's masterpiece, '"Serenade," "I Will Not Grieve," by Schumann, and "Fair Cheeks Ye Ensnare Me," Brahms. The second group vril] begin with Martini s "The Joys of Love ' and J,® wo old English songs, "My Lovely Celia and "The Plague of Love. ' "There s Xot a Swain on the Plain." bv Purcell, concludes this bracket. The two operatic arias follow, and the final jrroup is to include "Music I Heaid From You" (Hageman), "Covent Garden"' (James), "'The Star"' (Rogeis) and "Midsummer" (Amy Worth). Supplementary number* will be selected from "Impatience" and "The Erl King," by Schubert, "Dedication," by Schumann. "Drink to Me Ctaly With Thine Eyes" and "The Last Roae ot Summer."
