ANNUAL ACCOUNTS.

ESTIMATES FOR COMING YEAR

The Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council adopted the annual balancesheet and statement of income and expenditure for the past year, also the estimated receipts and expenditure for the coming 1- months.

Referring to the fact that the financial statement had been returned from the Audit Department without a "tag." the chairman, Mr. T. J. Goldntine, said it was a matter for congratulation to the secretary and staff.

The (statement showed a surplus for the vear of £137 2/2. after an expenditure" of £0863 2/1. The' estimated receipts for the year ending March 31, 1940, were £8035, the items being: Licence fees. £885; lcviet". £7078; sundries, £70. Expenditure was estimated at £6812, providing for a surplus of £1223.
