LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

Manurewa.—The monthly meeting of the Manurewa branch was held recently. It was a members' afternoon and items were given by their children. Recita-. tions were given .by - Jeesie Muir; Dorothy Nicholas, Pauline and Una Claude and Helen Nicholson. Mrs. ,C. Roberts sang. Newton. —The May meeting of the Newton East branch of the L.O.M. waa held in the Dundonaid Street hall, Mrs. E. Ohms presiding. The speaker for the afternoon was the Rev. A. Everil Orr, whose subject was "The Sanctity of Marriage." Mr. Orr ateo delighted thoee present by singing "Waiata Poi" and "Prayer Perfect." The thought for the month was given by Mre. Best.
