NORTHCOTE PARISH.
ELECTION OF THE OFFICERS,
The vicar, the Rev. F. C. Truman, who presided at the annual meeting of parishioners of St. John the Baptist Church, at Northcote, last night, expressed appreciation of the' hearty welcome extended and the co-operation experienced since he came to Northcote last December.
Northcote possessed every facility for a full parish life, and it should be their aiig to ensure that all parishionersyoung and old—were linked up with the various departments.
Regret was expressed at the continued illness of the organist, Mr. William Newman, to whom it was decided to send a message of sympathy and encouragement.
Office-bearers elected were:—Vicar's warden. Mr. Percy ( . Cross: people's warden. Mr. Percy Minns; vestry. .Messrs. Arnold Taylor (treasurer). R. D. Kelly (secretary), Tlios. Joll. F. K. Fielder, A. E. Harding, F. C. Swinbank. A. E. H. Harrison, W. E. Carter, A. D. Jeffery, Paul Ungemuth and T. G. Fielder.
