CROQUET PARTY.
MANGERE EAST PLAYERS.
.Member* of the Mangere East Croquet Club and honorary members and members of the Auckland Croquet Association were entertained by the president of the club, Mrs. Keith Chapman, at an enjoyable bridge and five hundred afternoon at her residence.
The hostess received her guests wearInir a black model with gold relief. Winners were: — Bridge. Mr*. Keesing; live hundred, Mrs. (J. Martin; hidden cumbers, Mrs. Belcher and Mrs. Parker inn.
U the conclusion of cards Mrs. Clark, on behalf of the executive, thanked Mrs. I hapman for the very pleasant afternoon. Mrs. Penman, vice-president, presented Mr*. Chapman with a bouquet of nntumn flowers, on behalf of the members, wnd, on behalf of the honorary members, Mrs. John Tait presented Mrs. Chapman with a posy made of chillies. Those present were: Mesdames Keesing, Clark, Pierrle, Badeley, Burns, Gordon, Howieson. Martin, Robertson. Penman, Storey, Pheasant, Laslett, Belcher, Massey, Tait, Solomon, McNeeley, Jackson, Newßon, Orpin. Walters, Henwood, Prangley, McC'alluin, Coglan, Saussey, Parker Hill, Miss Tims.
