PROPOSED BOWLING CLUB.

A pleasant afternoon was spent in the Balmoral Club's pavilion by the ladies of the proposed new bowling club to be formed in Mount Eden.

Mrs. Lofley, on behalf of the committee, thanked all those present for their support. Five hundred was played, the prizes being won by Mrs. W. I. Stephenson first and Mrs. Oliver second, the consolation prize going to Mrs. M. Crisp, Among the Indies present were:— Mesdames C. Nlmtno, Cliffe. Speir, A. L. Reynold*. Miller, E. M. Mills.
