THAMES GIRLS' CLUB.

LECTURE TO MEMBERS. Ah evening was lield in the Druid's elubroom, Newton, by the Thames Girls' Club (Incorporated). The outstanding feature of the evening was a lecture, accompanied bv lantern slides, on "World Affairs," given by Mr. McGillNutt, local representative of the British Israel World Federation, Auckland branch. The lecture was preceded and followed by musical items rendered by Mesdames Snowling, Wright, Richie and Miss Lawrv. Accompanists were Mies Agnes Andrews and Mrs. Snowling. The president, Mrs. H. Stubbing, presented Mrs. McGill-Nutt with a fruit cake at the conclusion of the evening.
