SHORTER WORKING HOURS.
BARBERS AND TOBACCONISTS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Tired of working mornings and evenings six days of the week, hairdressers and tobacconists in Wellington and suburbs have determined to keep Shorter business hours. Pink notices posted in barbers' shops throughout the city this week announce that earlier closing hours are to be observed in future. It is likely, too, that tobacconists with hairdressing businesses will shortly adopt similar hourg.
