TRIPPING ABROAD.
j On two occasions recently our worthy Prime Minister has stated that he has only'to say the word "stop"' and things stop. Surely if this is the case, a most opportune moment for ;iiim to use the word was when his colleagues decided to buy him a modern residence at th» cost of several thousands of pounds at a time when Xew Zealand is financially embarrassed and Mr. Xash is exhorting the people to save and thus help Xew Zealand over the crisis. In the past our Labour representatives on the Opposition benches criticised the Ministers of the Crown for tripping abroad, and now the Labour representatives are having more trips than I ever remember in history—to the Islands, Australia. Geneva and tlie Mother Country. It makes me wonder if we have been "bulldozed." SAXE LABOUR.
