According to the "Christchurch StarSun," the share market shows a full 10 per cent disparity between *the New Zealand and the Australian pound, and eales of Australian currency have recently been made to New* Zealand financial interests at rates from £105 to £110 New Zealand to £100 Australian. An instance occurred only last week when a New Zealander was offered £100,000 in Aunt Kalian currency at a 7 per cent premium. He took time to think it over, but within 24 hours the offer had been accepted elsewhere. Similar premiums are required to purchase sterling funds, the unofficial rate being from £130 to £135 New Zealand for £100 sterling.
