DEFENCE CAMPAIGN.
MEETING AT THAMES. (By Telegrapti.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, Friday. A large gathering of citizens and i members of the Returned Soldiers' Association, territorials, cadets and Hip-hi School pupils was held to-day to addresses by Sir Andrew Kussell and; Colonel H. E. Barrowclough, of the New] Zealand Defence _ League, on defence matters. After the meeting a number of returned soldiers and citizens signed up as members.
