It looked as though Mrs. Xornian and Mrs. Ache would win when Mrs. Xorman found the ereen with her third and Miss White-Parsons pulled an iron approach to the loft of the green. Mrs. Ashe putted to within four feet of the pin. and Mrs. Lewis made a weak chip. However. Miss Whitr-Pansons ran down a 10-foot putt for a i>. and Mrs. Norman miseed the fourfoot Yiutt. for her opponents to take the honours by the smallest possible margin.
